This tidbit was on the BA Prospect Report last Friday:
IP H R ER BB SO ERA
KC MEX Sisco, Andy ............... 5.0 5 2 2 2 2 2.70 - L (1-1)
looks like they may finally be converting him to starter? He's playing for the Venados de Mazatlan in the Mexican Pacific League. They're 15-8 and tied atop the league right now. Looks like Fernandomania is alive and well down there as 46-year-old Valenzuela is playing for the Aguilas de Mexicali with his son, Fernando Jr. No other Royals are down there, as far as a quick roster check indicated. Sisco has pitched 20 innings in 4 starts and has walked 10 and struck out 17. Batters are only hitting .194 off him down there and his WHIP is 1.15.
Among Royals farmhands in the Arizona Fall League, C Adam Donachie has hit .375 with a 1.274 OPS in 9 games, IF Fernando Cortez has hit .346 with a .747 OPS in 15 games and OF Mitch Maier has hit .343 with a .784 OPS in 16 games. OF Chris Lubanski has only hit .167 with a .527 OPS in 9 games. P Neal Musser is having a good season with a 2.07 ERA in 17 2/3 IP, P Gabe DeHoyos has a 2.70 ERA in 10 IP and Luke Hochevar has an 8.64 ERA in only 8 1/3 IP but was removed from the roster Oct. 28.
In the Hawaii Winter Baseball league, Mike Stodolka's average has slipped to .288 but a .413 OBP and .462 SLG have added up to an .875 OPS in 15 games. OF Brian McFall has hit .241 with a .761 OPS in 15 games. P Jarod Plummer is 1-0 with a 2.93 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in 15 1/3 IP.
Still planning on posting that NPB Note on Hanshin at some point.
