Royals on the Farm 8/23 and 8/24 -- Dwyer debuts in IF

It was truly a shocker that the Royals brought in Kyle Farnsworth in a relatively close game Sunday and he ended up allowing 5 ER....there is nothing to get excited about in regard to the Royals at this point. Zack Greinke pitches well but gets no run support, Billy Butler's breakout season is going for naught, Joakim Soria has been good but not his best, any other player has been solid but not great at best, and in most cases, they stink to high heaven. How about that for stating the obvious? Joe Posnanski has declared it the worst Royals team ever. And with this front office/ownership/manager, it's getting no better. I'm thinking of declaring my fan free agency. How about "Giants on the Farm" next season? I'm seriously considering it.

Ken, I am one of the guys that TRULY appreciates these Royals on the Farm Reports. Please PLEASE do NOT switch your allegience.

I know you've heard it all before but our patience WILL be rewarded one day. You should know that better than anyone else given your more familiar with the real prospects this team has than anyone I know.

The kids at Wilmington and a few of the others too will be up in a couple of years and bring a WINNING attitude finally.

GMDM has definitely let us down with his ties to Hillman and his MISassembly of the Big League roster. No doubt about it. But... we do have prospects.

Once again... patience my friend, patience!

Go Royals!!! C-ya, AusSteveW

BTW... a couple of posters have left our old site so you may want to actually COME BACK There too!! *smile*

as always, I appreciate the kind words, Steve.

I have no faith in ownership or the front office to bring in the right guys or handle the prospects they have correctly. That's the main problem. Trust me, I want as much as anyone for this team to be good again. I just don't see it happening with Glass, Moore and Hillman in place, and Hillman is the smallest problem of the 3.

I don't know what I'm gonna do yet. It just feels like I'm investing too much time in an organization that's not worth it.

Also, I'd heard a couple guys left the Yahoo list. Maybe someday I'll come back. Hope everything is well with you....
