*** The Royals held 4-0 and 7-3 leads and lost a 2-run lead in the 9th as the Isotopes dropped the Royals to their 3rd straight loss. Omaha started the game as the Isotopes would end it -- with a 4-run inning -- as Ryan Shealy blasted a 3-run shot for his 19th of the season and Damon Hollins followed him with a solo shot for his 13th of the season to make it 4-0 Omaha. Brandon Duckworth followed starter Carlos Rosa to pitch the 3rd and allowed a run on 2 hits and a walk. A single and 2 doubles in the 5th cut the lead to 4-3 but Omaha responded with 3 runs in the 5th on a Brayan Pena RBI double and 2-run Matt Tupman single. Duckworth allowed 2 runs on a walk and triple in the 7th to trim it to 7-5 but Jeff Fulchino stranded a runner at third in the 8th. Omaha stranded 2 in the 8th and Fulchino loaded the bases with no outs to start the 9th, including a play where someone forgot to call time for a mound visit and the Isotopes got a stolen base out of it. Manager Mike Jirschele left Fulchino in and a 2-run double by 1B Tagg Bozied tied the game. Paul Lo Duca followed 2 batters later with a 2-run single to give Albuquerque a 9-7 lead.
