Royals on the Farm news flash -- Wichita finishes it

The Wranglers took the best-of-5 series as they rolled to a 7-0 lead but then had to hold on for the 7-6 win. Luke Hochevar got the big win with 2 ER allowed over 5 1/3 IP on only 2 hits and a walk with 7 Ks. He's the real deal. Alex Gordon broke out of his postseason funk with a 2 HR game and Billy Butler crushed one as well. It's on to the Texas League Championship Series vs. the Corpus Christi Hooks in a best-of-5 set. Wichita was 6-8 vs. the Hooks this season. I think Billy Buckner is set to start game 1, but it's not until Monday so that might change. Games 1 and 2 are slated for Wichita.

As of 10:45, High Desert is down, 7-3, in the 4th in the decisive game 3 with Lake Elsinore.

Idaho Falls is up on Orem, 6-2, in the 9th in game 1 of their best-of-3.
