It's time

After much thought and with mixed feelings about the decision, I am calling it quits on the Royals on the Farm reports. It's not easy to stop after 6 1/2 years of chronicling the Royals' minor league action, but I think the timing is right. I remain a Royals fan and will continue to track the progress of up and comers but my commitment isn't at the point where I can do nightly reports and do them justice. I want to thank everyone who has read the blog over the years and the Royals fans that have hung in through a lot of lean times. Things are as optimistic for KC going into 2012 as they've been for the franchise since 1994, and if Dayton Moore can make any kind of headway in piecing together a starting rotation, they'll just get better. For that reason I don't see 2012 being the step forward some think it will be but we'll see. After the days of "Wait 'til '08" and "Wait 'til '11", maybe that target year will finally get here. I may still post and find motivation to keep the Legacy countdown going (that would have to start with a 2011 post) but time will tell. Again, thanks for reading and here's to better days for the Royals....

Sorry to hear that I won't have the Pipeline to check every morning during the season. Thanks for putting in the work over the past few years, and good luck with whatever you do next.

Thank you for all your efforts in doing the Royals on the Farm reports over the past several years. It's helped a lot of us stay in the know and keep the Royals hope alive.

So disappointed. This has been my favorite Royals BLOG (take that Rany!) but I understand. Thanks for the hard work in the past. I'll check back regularly to see what you have posted.

Sad to see you go, The Pipeline was always my favorite spot to go for our minor league teams. I'll never forget the year Rowdy Hardy dominated ! Thanks for all your hours of dedication Ken !

Sorry to see that my favorite Royals Blogs is going away. It has kept me and I'm sure, many others hopeful through some very trying years as Royals fans. Thanks for all the hard work.
