* The Royals blew a 4-2 lead but prevailed in 11. Bryan Bullington replaced Brad Thompson in the 3rd and stranded the bases loaded. The Express broke the ice in the 4th and Omaha left 'em loaded in the 5th. Former Royals farmhand Jonah Bayliss came in to pitch for Round Rock with 2 on and 2 out in the 6th and gave up a bases-loaded, 3-run double to Jordan Parraz followed by a Buck Coats RBI single to make it 4-1. Victor Marte allowed a run in the 6th to cut the lead to 2 and then walked in a run in the 7th before Greg Holland came in and walked in the tying run. Jeff Howell hit the game-breaking RBI single in the 11th and Blake Wood faced the minimum in his 2 innings of work for the win. RP Roy Corcoran took the loss for Round Rock. LF Collin DeLome was the only Express batter with 2 hits. RF Andrew Locke drove in 2 runs. RP Roman Colon has cleared waivers and accepted his assignment to Omaha. Anthony Lerew will start Thursday's game 3.
AA - NWA: off day
* The Naturals start a 4-game home set to kick off the Diamond Series with the Arkansas Travelers (AA Angels) Thursday. Edgar Osuna starts the opener.

* The game will be made up as part of a Thursday double dip. Chris Dwyer and Alex Caldera will start.

* The Bees are not good. Clinton did its damage in 3 innings to run away with the game. Matt Mitchell gave up 2 2-out doubles, a walk and 3-run homer in the 1st. He then gave up 2 more homers in the 2nd as Clinton slapped up 5 runs to make it 9-0. Rene Oriental provided the Bees' only offense with a solo homer in the 4th for his 1st for the organization. Sam Runion actually pitched 3 scoreless innings but got lit up in the 6th as he and Dusty Odenbach allowed the last 6 LumberKings runs. The Bees only had 3 hits. They are now 3-11. Starter Jonathan Hesketh got the win with 1 ER allowed over 5 IP. Four 'Kings had multiple hits led by a 4-5 night from DH Dennis Raben, who had 3 doubles (4), his 4th homer and drove in 3 runs (8). Clinton had 3 3-run homers.
