Bell is undefeated!

I knew Allard knew what he was doing! I'm being sarcastic, but it is nice to see the Royals beat the Evil Empire. Greinke finally gets his first win -- he can't beat anyone else but can beat the Yankees? I know, run support, run support. The last two Ls that wasn't the case though, and he comes out tonight and holds New York to 3 hits, although he is proving to be susceptible to the long ball as Matsui took him downtown. Sweeney was 0-4 to drop closer and closer to .300 at .308. Stairs and Brown picked up the slack and T. Long had a decent game with 2 RBI even though he didn't get a hit. Teahen also had a decent game with 2 hits in 4 ABs. I held my breath when I saw McDougal was out for the 9th inning. The Yankees' bench is pretty thin for the $200 mill payroll -- Cano wasn't impressive (he's not on the bench, he's the regular 2B) and Russ Johnson came off the bench in the 9th? MacDougal also made Jeter look silly on the slider before the questionable check swing call to strike him out. Anyway, a win's a win, even if it makes you 14-37. On to the Big Unit tomorrow night, Bell's first big test. Wall Puncher tonight had a shoddy start but he's having a bad year. The Yankees look pretty shaky.
