A Clint Robinson RBI force out in the 1st gave the Chukars an early lead but Casper scored 2 in the 2nd off SP Joe Hughes before Nick Van Stratten ended the inning by throwing out a runner at the plate. Anthony Seratelli hit a 2-out solo homer in the 3rd (his 2nd of the season) to tie the game and, after Mike Bionde singled home a run in the 4th, Seratelli came up and smoked a 3-run homer to right center for his 2nd of the game and 3rd of the season to make it 6-2 Chukars. Hughes handed that lead to the pen in the 6th. RP Justin Phillips stranded a runner at third that inning and allowed a sac fly in the 7th to cut it to 6-3. IF left 2 in scoring position in the 7th and Phillips allowed 2 runs in the 8th on 3 hits, a passed ball on C Joe Billick and wild pitch to cut it to 6-5. Greg Holland came on for the 9th and 2 hits and a fielding error by LF Rubi Koko allowed Casper to tie it. The Rockies went for the lead later in the inning as a Holland pitch got away from Billick but the catcher and Holland combined to get the runner trying to score from third to keep it tied at 6.
