* Hopefully Omaha saved some runs for the road trip to California. The Chasers shrugged off a 3-0 deficit early to drub the RiverCats Wednesday and take a 2-0 series lead. A 2-run homer was part of a 3-run 1st off Vin Mazzaro as the 'Cats took the lead. Lorenzo Cain hit a sac fly in the 1st and Lance Zawadzki singled in a run in the 2nd to quickly cut the lead to 3-2. With 2 out and 2 on in the 3rd, Omaha took command as Manuel Pina hit a 2-run single, an error scored a run and Kurt Mertins and Jarrod Dyson hit RBI singles to make it 7-3. Mazzaro left the bases loaded in the 4th and Kevin Pucetas allowed a run in the 6th. Clint Robinson singled in a run and Irving Falu squeeze bunted home a run in the 6th to make it 9-4. David Lough added a 2-run single and Robinson hit an RBI groundout as Omaha poured it on in the 7th. Dyson finished the scoring with a 3-run blast in the 8th for his 1st playoff homer. The teams have Thursday off before picking up Friday in Sacramento.
