* The Chasers got to rehabbing Nashville SP Zack Greinke then tagged the bullpen for 5 more runs to grab a 7-3 win. Jeff Suppan gave up a 2-run homer in the 1st as the Sounds took the lead, but Omaha stranded 2 off Greinke in the 2nd and got back-to-back triples from Lorenzo Cain and David Lough in the 3rd. An Eric Hosmer sac fly both tied the game and spelled the end of Greinke's outing. Omaha took command in the 4th as Manny Pina singled in 2 runs and Lough tagged an RBI double to make it 5-2. Suppan didn't face any more serious trouble and Omaha added 2 in the 8th on a Gregor Blanco RBI double and Cain RBI single. Kanekoa Texeira allowed a run in the 9th in his first ever Omaha appearance but finished the game. Greinke's ERA inflated to 6.75 with the outing. DH Brendan Katin hit his 5th homer with 2 RBI (12). * Seven early runs almost weren't enough for the Rocks but they hung on to outlast the Dash Sunday. Nick Francis doubled in a run in the 1st followed by a bases-loaded HBP by Tim Ferguson and Jose Bonilla RBI forceout that made it 3-0. Elisaul Pimentel gave a run back in the 1st but Wilmington responded with 4 in the 2nd on a John Whittleman grand slam for his 3rd homer of the season. Pimentel let the lead slip a little with a 2-run homer allowed in the 2nd. Francis went deep in the 4th for his 4th homer of the season but Pimentel allowed 2 runs that inning to cut it to 8-5. Wilmington squandered a bases-loaded situation in the 5th but Whittleman hit an RBI double in the 6th to stretch the lead back to 4. Three Dash hitters had multiple hits, including 3B Austin Yount (Robin's nephew), who had 2 hits and 2 RBI (5). Wilmington is 11-5. A 4-game set at the Lynchburg Hillcats (4-11, A-Adv.
