Teaford 3 IP, H, BB, 2 K -- W, 4-2, 5.08 ERA
Sisk IP, BB -- SV, 4, 1.71 ERA

* The Naturals kept the good times rolling with a 3rd straight win overall and 5th straight over Tulsa. Both teams scattered baserunners early and NWA put some pressure on Tulsa SP Cory Riordan in the 4th but got nothing out of it. Everett Teaford took over after a leadoff Tulsa double and a 71-minute rain delay in the 6th and the Nats nailed a runner at the plate in the inning as Teaford escaped unscathed. Chris McConnell had the gamebreaker with an RBI single in the 7th and Teaford and Brandon Sisk made it stand. RP Sean Jarrett took the loss with an ER over 2 IP. Riordan allowed 2 hits and 3 walks with 5 K over 5 IP. 3B Matt Repec had 2 hits. NWA is 24-14. Aaron Crow starts Thursday's finale as NWA goes for the sweep.

De La Rosa 2 IP, UER, 2 H, BB, K -- 0.00 ERA
Mozingo IP, H, 2 K -- 9.35 ERA

* It wasn't an 11-K start, but it was a 6-inning, no-earned-run outing for Alex Caldera as he continued to make his presence felt in the Rocks' rotation. Lynchburg scored after Rey Navarro's 1st Rocks error in the 2nd but Navarro scored on a wild pitch in the 3rd and Patrick Norris clubbed his 1st homer of the season for a 3-run dinger to make it 4-1 Rocks. Salvador Perez hit his 3rd homer in the 4th. Jamar Walton knocked a 2-run single and Fernando Garcia singled in a run in the 6th to make it 8-1. A Norris error turned into Lynchburg's other run in the 8th. RP Daryl Harang allowed 8 ER over 3 1/3 IP to take his 1st loss of the season. Lynchburg SP Mark Serrano pitched 2 hitless innings. Seven 'Cats had a hit each. The Rocks are 17-23. Manauris Baez starts Thursday's series finale.

A - Burlington: Bees 4, Clinton 1

RF Oriental 2-4, HR (2), 3 RBI (12), RS -- .255
1B Graterol 2-4 -- .364
CF Testa 1-4, K, 2 RS -- .246
C Myers 1-3, BB, RS -- .254
DH Bonilla 0-3, K -- .184

Mitchell 5 2/3 IP, ER, 2 H, 2 BB, 9 K, HRA, WP -- 5.03 ERA
Sirrett 1 1/3 IP, H, 3 K, WP -- 0.00 ERA
Hayenga IP, BB -- W, 1-0, 0.00 ERA, lot of new blood all of a sudden
Dennick IP, nothing -- SV, 1, 4.22 ERA

* A 3-run blast by Rene Oriental in the 8th was the difference. Matt Mitchell served up a solo homer in the 1st but Carlo Testa singled and scored on an error to tie the game in the same inning. Mitchell and Clinton SP James Gillheeney dueled from there and the game went to the bullpens. Oriental stepped up with 2 on and 2 out in the 8th and came through with his 2nd homer of the season to break the tie. Ryan Dennick pitched a 1-2-3 9th. RP Daniel Cooper took the loss. Gillheeney allowed an unearned run over 7 IP to lower his ERA to 2.34. The LumberKings only had 3 hits. The Bees are 14-25. IF Ryan Stovall was demoted to Idaho Falls and P Kelvin Herrera was put on the DL with elbow inflammation. Hope that's all it is. Keaton Hayenga and Onassis Sirrett, as shown, joined the squad as Jose Bonilla also returned from the DL. Hayenga is joining the rotation.
