Another great start from D.J. tonight against the Giants. CG 5 hitter, 1 ER in the 1st. Royals win, 8-1. Berroa and Long have 3-hit games including triples -- the Royals had 3 3-baggers in the game as DeJesus added another. On the flip side the team has nary a .300 hitter now as Sweeney was 1-5 to drop to .298. Teahen was 1-4 but had a nice defensive play on a shot by Kirk Rueter down the LF line. Bullpen gets a nice night off thanks to Carrasco, that may pay off later in the series. The Giants aren't looking good without Bonds. Two Giant errors helped the Royals, who scrape together another win thanks to contributions from several players. Brown and Graffanino had 2-hit games as well. Berroa is still hitting leadoff for some reason. In the games he hits it's no big deal but he can also be lineup quicksand if he isn't hitting because he doesn't walk. Can't argue with a win, tho. It snapped a 9-game road losing streak. Let's go for two tomorrow against Fassero.
