Power outage

I guess we can forget getting to Byung-Hyun Kim. Royals pitchers had a bad night and the offense managed 1 extra-base hit in 9 hits -- a double by PH Justin Huber for his first major league hit and RBI in the 6th. Kim gave the Royals a run on a passed ball in the 1st but D.J. Carrasco was racked for 8 R (7 ER) in 3 1/3 IP. Berroa and DeJesus were the only Royals with 2 hits. Emil Brown got his hit to move his hitting streak to 11 games. Buck and Gotay were the starters with 0-fers tonight. Jimmy Gobble got touched up for 3 ER over 1 1/3 IP. Not much good to report....again. Brown and Teahen committed errors in the game and Teahen's cost KC a run.

Well, crap. Maybe Runelvys can right the ship tomorrow. Rockies prospect pitcher Jeff Francis goes for Colorado. The team is headed the wrong way and needs to get well against the Rockies, not worse.
