* A 10-run 3rd sent Omaha to the loss. Edgar Osuna served up a 2-run homer in the 1st but the Royals matched the runs on a bases-loaded walk by Scott Thorman and a Lucas May sac fly, tho Ed Lucas was thrown out at third on the play to end the inning. Omaha momentarily grabbed the lead on a Kurt Mertins RBI single in the 2nd but Portland broke out the bats big time on Osuna in the 3rd. With the bases loaded, 2 out and 4 runs in, Osuna was pulled for Devon Lowery, who gave up 4 straight singles, a bases-loaded walk and another single before getting out of the jam with Omaha down, 12-3. Omaha left 'em loaded in the 3rd and the Beavers padded the already healthy lead with a run in the 5th off Louis Coleman. Thorman hit an RBI double in the 8th and David Lough hit an RBI triple in the 9th before Thorman took a bases loaded HBP but it was too little, too late as they left the bases full once more. Deivy Batista hit a sac fly in the 2nd and right after Hilton Richardson was picked off in the 3rd, Whit Merrifield hit a solo homer for his 2nd as a pro to make it 2-0 Bees. Merrifield hit a 2-run single in the 5th to make it 4-0 but it was all downhill from there for Burlington. Sugar Ray Marimon was shutting the Snappers out on 1 hit as only that batter had reached base entering the 6th. He gave up a 2-out, 2-run triple, tho, that inning to cut the lead to 4-2. That was the lead handed to Ryan Dennick in the 9th and he had 2 on with 2 out when a walk was followed by a walkoff 3-run double by RF Lance Ray to end it.
