I failed to note yesterday that the Royals have already agreed to contracts with 16 draft picks, led by 9th round righty Aaron Brooks and 10th round righty Matthew Murray. The list also includes 5 OFs, a SS, 2 Cs, a 3B, and 5 other pitchers.

* Oklahoma City made a 7th inning comeback and then pulled the game out in 11. Johnny Giavotella went deep in the 1st for a 2-run homer for his 4th of the season and Clint Robinson led off the 4th with his 15th homer to make it 3-0 Omaha. Jeff Suppan had a good start but finally got nicked in the 5th with a run on 3 hits and a walk before leaving the bases full. Paulo Orlando scored on a wild pitch in the 5th to make it 4-1 Chasers. Suppan was pulled after giving up a 2-run homer in the 7th and Brandon Sisk allowed the tying run on 3 more hits. The Chasers left the bases loaded in the 7th and Jeremy Jeffress got out of a bases-loaded, 0-out situation in the 9th to keep the Chasers alive. Blaine Hardy allowed 2 runs on 4 singles in the 11th, however, and the Chasers had the last 10 sat down by RedHawk pitchers. IF Anderson Hernandez had 4 hits while 2 others had 3 hits and 2 others had 2 hits. Omaha is 34-28. The series wraps Sunday. No announced starter on the team site.
AA - NW Arkansas: The Naturals are up, 5-3, in the 7th.
* I'm gonna recap this one Sunday, as a 2-hour rain delay has 'em playing late in North Little Rock. The Naturals start a 4-game home set with the Tulsa Drillers (30-30, AA Rockies) tomorrow.
A-Adv. - Wilmington: Blue Rocks 9, Winston-Salem 4
DH Francis 5-6, 3B (2), RBI (27), RS -- .284, 5-hit night is always noteworthy
LF Ferguson 3-4, SF, HR (5), 3 RBI (22), K, 2 RS, picked off -- .189

C Bonilla 2-3, 2 BB, RBI (18), 2 RS -- .250
1B Lewis 2-5, 3B (2), 2 RBI (9), 2 RS -- .230
The Rocks stranded 13.
Sample 7 IP, 3 ER, 6 H, BB, 7 K -- W, 4-4, 3.75 ERA, when he keeps the BB down, he looks good
Odenbach IP, H, 2 K -- 0.00 ERA
Gibson IP, ER, 3 H -- 5.87 ERA
* Wilmington took it to all 3 of the Winston-Salem pitchers to take another game from the Dash. The Rocks wasted no time as they opened the top of the 1st with three singles, including an RBI base hit from Nick Francis, and Jose Bonilla added an RBI single before Wilmington stranded 2. Carlo Testa doubled in a run in the 2nd but was thrown out at the plate on a Francis single to end the inning. The Dash scratched out a run off Tyler Sample in the 2nd. The score stayed 3-1 into the 5th when the Rocks got a Tim Ferguson sac fly. Ferguson came back up in the 7th for a 2-run homer for his 5th of the season to make it 6-1. Sample finally tired to allow 2 runs in the 7th, but the Rocks put it away with 3 in the 9th on a 2-run Joey Lewis triple and Whit Merrifield RBI single. Glenn Gibson allowed a run on 3 hits in the 9th before closing it out. Three Dash batters had 2 hits as LF Nick Ciolli also added 3 RBI (25) and an assist at the plate. Wilmington is 32-28. The Rocks go for the sweep Sunday as staff ace Jake Odorizzi starts.
A - Kane County: Dayton 3, Cougars 0
DH Kuebler 2-4, 2 2B (6), K -- .184
1B Stovall 1-3, BB, 2B (14) -- .287
CF Eibner 0-4, K, OF assist at home -- .143
3B Cuthbert 0-4, E -- .294
RF Geulin Beltre had an OF assist at second.
L. Santiago 7 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 6 K, WP -- 3.26 ERA
Keck IP, 3 UER, H, 2 BB -- L, 0-2, 3.62 ERA
Byrne IP, 2 H -- 4.34 ERA
* A pitcher's duel went the way of the Dragons in the 8th. C Juan Graterol caught 2 runners stealing in the 3rd to help out battery mate Leonel Santiago, and neither team really threatened again until the 8th. Jon Keck came in for that inning and walked the first 2 Dragons. A 1-out Orlando Calixte error scored Dayton's first run and a 2-out, 2-run single made it 3-0 Dragons. Brett Eibner kept it that way with an assist at the plate to end the top of the 9th, but RP Drew Hayes pitched a perfect bottom of the 9th for his 6th save. Dayton SP Stalin Gerson allowed 4 hits and a walk with 5 K over 6 IP but took the no-decision. OF Theo Bowe had 2 hits to improve to .261. SS Billy Hamilton was caught stealing for the 8th time (to go with his 50 steals) and committed his 22nd error. LF Juan Duran had 2 RBI (24). KC is 26-36. The Cougars will try to avoid a sweep Sunday with Yordano Ventura making the start.
