Irving Falu singled in Omaha's first run in the 7th as Lorenzo Cain had broken up Wily Peralta's no-hitter earlier in the inning with an infield single. Lebron gave up a run in the 8th to make it 3-1, but Kila Ka'aihue hit a 2-out RBI single in the 9th and, after Falu walked, Yamaico Navarro tied it with a single. Kurt Mertins went for the win but was gunned down at the plate on the play to end the inning. Brandon Sisk kept it going but faltered in the 11th as the Sounds scored 4 runs. There would be no big rally this time. Omaha is 72-57. The series ends Tuesday. Billo allowed 2 more runs before getting pulled in the 3rd. Clinton went on to add 2 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th. Alex Llanos hit a 2-out RBI single in the 7th but all it did was spoil the shutout. KC is 32-24. The series wraps Tuesday with Yordano Ventura starting.
